We are an experienced moving company with offices in Shepperton and Bookham. We offer a professional house removal service which starts once you contact us to arrange a FREE estimate. We come and see you to talk through the various options. We will make your move as smooth as possible, tailored to meet your needs and budget.

We supply everything – the van, the staff (as many you you need), the packaging materials and boxes and most importantly, peace of mind. If you need temporary storage for your items we also offer containerised storage.

We moved home two weeks ago and used WH Cox removals. They quite honestly made the day completely stress-free. Beforehand we had a video call to see the property and get a quote. We opted to self-pack as we wanted to have a clear out. On moving day, the removal team arrived exactly when we were told they would and they worked extremely efficiently. They packed up our mirrors and pictures and even boxed up our hanging clothes. When we arrived at our new property they were happy for us to start unpacking whilst they were still unloading which helped so much. Highly recommended and we would definitely use again!

Additional Packing Service Available

We provide a full or part packing/unpacking service. We will professionally wrap and pack all items to ensure that they arrive in the right number of pieces at the other end. We have all the necessary expertise for handling fragile/valuable items. You will save time by having WH Cox & Son pack everything for you and end up with a more relaxed moving experience. Ask us about this service – a quotation costs nothing! 

If you are doing your own packing, we recommend strong cartons and professional packing materials – we are happy to provide boxes. 

There is no time limit for unpacking, but once your boxes are empty, please store them in a dry area ready for collection. For longer distance moves, collection of boxes cannot be easily arranged so we kindly ask you to dispose of them.

Something to remember: items in chests of drawers can stay there provided the drawers are of a solid nature and the contents not too heavy. Hanging .clothes will be put on to hanging rails and transported to your new home ready to be stored in your wardrobes.
